At the Changan Automobile Global Partner Conference on January 16, 2024, Chairman Zhu Huarong delved into the latest developments of the joint venture between Changan and Huawei, shedding light on their collaborative journey. The roots of this collaboration trace back to November 25, 2023, when both companies signed an “Investment Cooperation Memorandum.”

The newly established joint venture between Changan and Huawei is tentatively named “Newcool,” focusing on seven major areas, including smart driving, intelligent cockpit, smart car digital platform, intelligent car cloud, AR-HUD, and smart car lights. Huawei recently revealed plans to establish a company dedicated to developing, designing, producing, selling, and servicing intelligent automotive systems and components.

The Changan-Huawei collaboration continues to evolve, with the Newcool joint venture poised to drive innovation in smart driving solutions, contributing to the global landscape of intelligent connected vehicles.
