The Red Dot Design Award, first established in 1955 and based in Essen, Germany, serves as one of the world’s largest design competitions. It has become a globally recognized mark of quality for exceptional design.

Winning the Red Dot Award in the Product Design category is regarded as a highly competitive achievement. This category covers diverse fields and attracts significant attention. In 2022, the award received over 7,800 entries from more than 60 countries and regions, showcasing top industrial design works in sectors such as automotive, consumer electronics, home appliances, and smart wear.

The Deepal SL03’s success in securing this esteemed award can be attributed to its exquisite design process and forward-thinking design concept. The Red Dot jury praised its modeling, interior and exterior, and intelligent features.

The jury commended the Deepal SL03’s groundbreaking grill-less front face and interactive light design, which breaks away from traditional layouts. This signature closed grill-less front design enhances the vehicle’s elegance, accentuating its futuristic style and emphasizing its status as a new energy vehicle.
